or people who are retired. This also doesn't take into account people who aren't in this country legally and aren't on our tax rolls, a massive problem for CA.
Back to the topic, the bi-partisan TaxFoundation data clearly shows that poverty levels in conservative states are much higher than in liberal states, including California. Yet conservatives still want the nation to follow their example. lol They want all states to be as successful as Alabama. lol

Is that really what you take away from that Tax Foundation map? Really? The only thing you've proven in this thread is that our education system has failed a lot of people in this country given how just ignorant you are.
Yup. California is great and simply better in taking care of its poor, hence high percentage of people collecting welfare.
Lets look at this data showing percentage of people per state who did not have to file taxes or were owed a refund due to no sufficient income, a/k/a people living in poverty:
Cali is still better than most conservative states including Texas, Georgia and Carolinas.
Here is the map. Analyze the data and tell me that you don't see much higher number of tax-non-payers in conservative states than in liberal states. I'd like to hear you say that... just to prove my point about "southern-education" lol

Who has claimed that Bush era deficits crashed the economy? The claim was you can't be all up in arms about Obama deficits when a vast majority of those were created by the economic crash and the Bush tax cuts. If you're going to attribute an argument to someone, at least know what the argument is.
Or are you agreeing with Mr. Cheney that "deficits don't matter?"
There were LOTS of liberals here moaning about how the Bush "surplus" was turned into deficits which caused the economic collapse..
The Bush tax cuts did NOT create the deficits, nor the crash, it actually increased revenues.
SPENDING increased substantially under a Democratic Congress, and SPENDING is responsible for having less than you receive.
