The makeup of the National Electorate is the same now as it was 40 years ago(or longer) 1/3 will vote Republican regardless of the candidate, 1/3 will vote for the Democrat regardless of the candidate, the remaining 1/3 decides elections and the Republicans are driving THEM away.
You RWNJs are looking at Horses and SEEING Zebras.
That is partly true.
Most of the independent voters are conservative but don't see go-along to get-along Republicans as being any more conservative than Democrats.
The main reason a voter becomes an independent is because they realize parties tend to exercise control over the candidates that are promising to represent them.
No one likes divided loyalties.
Reagan won the Republican nomination while fighting the party machine that wanted a RINO.
Independents showed up for Reagan because they knew he was no party lap dog.
In fact, the only people who liked Reagan were the voters.
so what you are saying is that like every other liberal...you are anti- elderly
why do the 'we care so much for you" liberals hate the elderly and the military
Not all liberals hate the elderly and the military, but the OP has demonstrated a complete distain for both of those groups (as well as conservatives in general and the Tea Party) on multiple, single-minded occasions. A one trick pony.

Heck,I'm looking in the mirror..no argument here....I'm sorely disappointed in Obama because he "outright" lied on just about everything in his first campaign and I'm once again disappointed in the repubs because they ran nothing better against him.
