That is partly true.

Most of the independent voters are conservative but don't see go-along to get-along Republicans as being any more conservative than Democrats.

The main reason a voter becomes an independent is because they realize parties tend to exercise control over the candidates that are promising to represent them.

No one likes divided loyalties.

Reagan won the Republican nomination while fighting the party machine that wanted a RINO.

Independents showed up for Reagan because they knew he was no party lap dog.

In fact, the only people who liked Reagan were the voters.

Not all liberals hate the elderly and the military, but the OP has demonstrated a complete distain for both of those groups (as well as conservatives in general and the Tea Party) on multiple, single-minded occasions. A one trick pony.

Yet liberals are big on welfare expenditures. Guess needy grandma and grandpa can just keel over and die though.

Heck,I'm looking in the mirror..no argument here....I'm sorely disappointed in Obama because he "outright" lied on just about everything in his first campaign and I'm once again disappointed in the repubs because they ran nothing better against him.

I was just yankin' your chain..knew who he was,but absolutely nothing about him...after further investigation I have came to the conclussion he must have gotten his hair cut at Walmart because that was one messed up looking head he was rocking there.
