I know all that. But we've been told, over and over, that it's "hard to contract". Duncan was still at home and very sick for several days. You'd think his house-mates touched plenty of infected items and then touched their faces. Yet they didn't get it. But Nina Pham and Amber Vinson, in all their garb MAY have touched their faces at some unknown point in time that no one can document and they got Ebola! Either, it's easier to pick up than we have been told, or something else is happening. Remember, Duncan was at home while very sick and his fiancee nor her kids used any protective gear. They had no reason to. He had not been diagnosed.

There was a 10+/- day gap between the time when Duncan first experienced symptoms and his transfer to the ICU with Ebola confirmation. Nurse Pham was amongst the first, but not the only, to have contact with him, in ICU.

Those who had contact with Duncan before nurse Pham did not get sick, despite that none of them observed any sort of attempt at an Ebola protocol.
And her "buddy" didn't say anything about her touching herself with ebola dripping gloves.
CDC guidelines..2 people with one watching the other disinfect and take off their contaminated clothing.

For all we know she could have had a paper cut on her finger and a pin prick in her glove.

We're in unchartered waters here.
Makes lots of people uncomfortable.

But it is what it is.

Duncan's fiance didn't get it.
But not a word about Pham's boyfriend who I think is in quarantine.

No one knows if Nurse Pham even has a boyfriend.
The alternative media continues to speculate he has been in quarantine, all along.

It was Saturday night before the second test came back with the bad news. Brantly had Ebola.
This link says he was negative until the third test:

Inconsistent reporting?

I am acknowledging she could still test positive for Ebola. I am hoping for her sake, she does not develop symptoms that would require her to be tested again.

Believe it or not there are still unknowns about Ebola.

At what point does it trigger a positive ?
They don't know hence the 2-21 days period.

I've read that Duncan was confined to just one room in the apartment. I also read that the family cleaned the apartment with bleach and other products before they even knew he had ebola. Perhaps that's part of the reason they did not get sick. Louise in now writing a book and it may shed some light of what had actually transpired.

BTW) I just joined this forum today. I have read quite a few of your posts and find them very informative.

The NBC MD was observed in the backseat of a car, while someone ran in for take out.
This MD did not treat Ebola patients, in Africa.
No public risk- just bad form.

Some of the alternate media chose to show an unrelated picture of her out and about.

The point is these people did what they wanted to in spite of being asked to self quarantine and the law had to get involved.
