The 21 day quarantine has been upheld. About all that is different for Hickox is there is no deputy outside her door. Her "victory" is without much actual substance.
The states were trying to impose a higher level of quarantine than was warranted. The lower level is science based.
As has been pointed out before, the military is a totally separate entity. It can do what it wants to do. DOD can decide to quarantine just to make the public happy if it wants to do so. If it is any consolation, the officers, including at least one general, are included.

stop being a hypocrite and treat people fairly.
She is apparently no longer a CDC employee.
She is still under quarantine. She must monitor her temp and notify health authorities before she travels. She is not being treated differently from the military.
