This is what I like about him, but in the end, this is what will hurt him I am afraid. There has to be a line drawn between telling it as it is and knowing when to use some common sense.
"Using common sense" is code for being two faced and trying to play both sides. I'm tired of Politicians who are fake and tell us what we want to hear depending on who they happen to be speaking to at that particular moment. Maybe you're not, but I think other Americans are tired of it as well.
The heckler was being a repetitive public nuisance, and the crowd as well as the Governor were growing tired of the interruption and lack of respect. Christie said what needed to be said and what everyone else there was either saying or thinking as well. The heckler needed to sit down and shut the hell up...
I also appreciate Christie's bluntness. In this age of political correctness, poll driven speeches, and half truths he is a breath of fresh air.
Amen to that. The fact that others would rather and need someone in office who is another run of the mill every day typical politician just goes to show why this country is staying the course on a downward spiral.
This is only news because CC is a serious presidential contender and the media is afraid. Christie does this stuff all the time. He answered the guys question and the guy kept trying to ruin the meeting. CC even agreed to meet with the guy afterwards but the guy just wanted to be disruptive so Christie put him in his place.
I do too, he would make a great president. I mean great, maybe the best since FDR. He has the courage to stand up to not only the Democrats but the Republicans as well.
It's funny seeing all the usual partisans line up according to Christie's party affiliation.
