That's pretty easy. Democrats are for buying off voters by playing on their "popular prejudices and false claims and promises in order to gain power." They simply don't understand the very simple concept that 2 is more than 1. They thought buying off 42 million people would be enough to keep them in power. They failed to realize that not only did they conflate the 42 million figure the other 274 million people would have to pay for it.

Oops... Fatally flawed. User error. Blue screen of death for them.

There's always 2 years of claiming republicans are racist, that's worked out splendidly for them and then of course there's always the omnipresent republicans should be more liberal socialist to fall back on.

It probably never occurred to democrats that people got tired of the finger pointing of Obama, Reid and Pelosi and Co.

Wasn't it some democrat that started the thread about democrats being more intelligent? With such low voter turnout, why didn't the supposedly intellectually superior democrats get out and vote?

Oh wait, they were too busy blaming the American people for getting trounced in the election.

Yeah, that oughta do it, call the American people stupid, that should really win them over.
Well, what does a fat pig do after gorging at the public trough?

Yeah sure--just like it did under GW Bush, whose 'base' was the wealthy. That was some economy.

The main problem is the Republicans have basically campaigned on being Anti-Obama, much like how Obama campaigned in 2008. You don't seem to realize that your party sold you the Obama plan, tell you what you want to hear prior to election day and figuring out the rest later.

Well it will be a short 2 years if you can't repeal ACA, push forward immigration reform, and spending cuts.

Short memory. That was the Republican response when Obama won a second time. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Globalization and automation are responsible, mostly, for our current labor situation. I don't see any party offering any real solutions on that front. However, there is no debating that the overall US economy is better and is doing better than our major developed countries peers

Wow, talk about the epitome of either stupid, or dishonest statements.

They did NOT "improve" our lives. They have harmed us immensely with their forcing their stupidity upon us all.
