There has to be a 2 acre area void of houses or all of the home owners would have to agree to have there houses torn down. That would include almost all of my neighborhood, that ain't gonna happen. You know, you should really know what you are talking about before you spread misinformation.
When you engage in deceptive practices and misinformation such as the one in post # 216 in a attempt to distort the truth. What is your credibility worth ? Taking a comment I was responding to and deliberately making it look like I was making the comment and highlighting phma to mislead others. Now you make a derogatory statement in condemnation about the misinformation of others, when it is your very foundation.

Fracking is a method used successfully for years.

It could go on near you and you would not notice.

Like you......I do not like change and would not want the traffic and people near me.

What I did was buy enough land that I can control what happens.

Most new wells now are PVC.

You will need a new well in time.......replace your well with a PVC well.
Just protect the zinc coated steel pipe in an encasing of PVC.

I am not sure what the code is for oil/gas wells.
But, is it the law that they do that, or can they just walk away and never come back, leaving it to rust and corrode.....that is the question.

And, if it is the law, just how much does it take to get them to follow it if they resist?

The company that put this well in got caught dumping fracking waste into the Mahoning River, they filed bankruptcy and the owner is in prison.....right where he belongs.

I am always getting all kinds of bankruptcy papers, but have no clue yet who will end up owning or being responsible for this well.
