You can get them in varying wavelengths now pretty elcheapo at Home Depot.

Fluorescent is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yesterday.
You must run a lot of lights, because the average is about 2% for home lighting.

I think we can decide for ourselves.
I agree. Let those light bulbs exist. Plus, inventors can always come up with new ideas for bulb technology, provided they don't get derailed by the left.

Totally, we should bring back leaded gasoline because we can decide for ourselves.
Well, I doubt that'll happen. You can breathe more easily now.

That's right the gubberment knows best. Just what we need, more gov intervention. Sometimes the use of cfl and led are not practical.

I understand your point, the government has people so dumbed down form their indoctrination, that people can't figure out anything for themselves. I gotcha

I doubt led's or cfl's will ever be as cheap as incandescent lights. I could buy several 6 packs of il's for the price of 1cfl, so how does it balance out.

Incandescent light bulbs are gone, move on with your life.
There are occasions where secretaries are required to hand type letters for security reasons, they are still in use to a small degree.

Nope. 14% according to the EIA. A little more on commercial though likely less opportunity to reduce.

So LED might cut it in half or better.

The light from cfl's, not so bad, light from led's is horrid, it has a bluish tint to it I cannot get used to. I like cfl's for lights I need to leave on 24/7, they last a long time.
