There is no requirement to only kill Christians and Jews who disobey the law
Muslims are ordered to kill them where they find them chapter 9 section 2 Quran

It's not going to happen because Muslims don't feel that the "hijacking of Islam" has been the true root of violence in the first place.

Ultranationalist Christian organizations in the Balkans and Caucasus have similarly commit brutal acts of violence that made Westerners cringe. This isn't because Christianity was hijacked by religious radicals, but because these groups were responses to political frustrations and their members believed their goals could only be achieved through violence against their enemies and opposers.

The US has unnecessarily intervened and meddled in Middle Eastern affairs for quite a long time now, and many lives have been lost. For example, as many as 500,000 Iraqi children under age 5 died during US-led sanctions and the nation was completely broken down before it was invaded in 2003. I agree with Robert Fisk who said Arabs have shown tremendous restraint against the US. To blame their culture or religion for their political hatred is a copout. A few psychopaths here and there is plausible, but people don't develop widespread hatred for no reason. If the US didn't trouble the Arabs so much, whether directly or through anti-Arab proxies, the level of Arab sympathy toward extremist or terrorist organizations would be reduced drastically and these organizations would consequently lose a lot of power and influence.

For starters, there are a number of articles about what those in Timbuktu did to preserve their written history and that of West Africa from radicals...

Exactly. The U.S. motivates the Jihad to attack due to U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, whether its propping up regimes (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Iraq, Yemen, etc...), overthrowing governments (Iraq, Libya, Syria), support for Israel, and interfering in conflicts that are not the business of the U.S. (Syria, Libya, Israel/Palestine, etc...). As long as U.S. foreign policy stays the same in the Middle East the Jihad, and groups like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and others will be well motivated, manned, and funded, and plotting on how to hurt the U.S.

As shown in several attacks, plenty of Muslims here are being motivated to attack the U.S. who are citizens, whether its a lone wolf attack, or by joining an insurgent Islamic group in the Middle East, because of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.

Well, I'm considering starting a million muslim march to let muslims make their presence seen/heard that what their fellow muslims (radicals) around the globe are doing with hijacking islam is not right, is not the teachings of allah or islam and is contributing to anti-muslim sentiments around the world.

Think this would work? Would people show up?
Would there be fear of a terrorist act?
Are you Muslim?

Just about everyone currently combatting ISIS is Muslim, to start with the most obvious point. You can't possibly be unaware of this.

I would like to know where you are going to have this march? Do you live in the states? If you live in the U.S., how many Muslims live in the area around you? I read recently that Muslims represent about 8% of population in the U.S.

If you did get a March together, I fear fanatical muslims would be there as well. There are some here in the U.S. and help recruit or support ISIS.

Thought this would be another good opportunity for all the moderate muslims in the US to do the Million Muslim March I proposed a while back, to let their voices be heard that they denounce the extremists for hi-jacking (no pun intended) and perverting their religion.

(but, that kind of a march would probably be threatened by terrorists.....quite the conundrum).
