No it isn't. It's resisting. Huge difference from me trying to get away from you and trying to hit you. It helps me to understand that I am taking the correct position when the other side has to resort to foolish arguments like yours.

2. There is a major difference between wrestling someone to the ground to arrest them if needed, and putting them in a chokehold BANNED by the department and KILLING them

In this case yes. What had he done wrong? The street was swarming with with cops (I count 8+) who had responded to a fight in progress call. When they arrived the fight was over and they started harassing Garner. With cops all over the place Garner wasn't standing there selling cigarettes in front of them.
