Many of us already knew that AGW is all about politics, not science. Now, the AGW leeches are telling the truth;
--------------
Pascoe Sabado from Corporate Europe Observatory: “We have to accept that climate change is not about the climate; it is about the economy. Climate change is about system change.”

Hit & Run - Reason.com

Of course, this is nothing new to many of us.

No. It's now about the consequences of politicizing the fact of climate change, i.e., making political correctness (and not empirical evidence) the test of science. What we are looking at now (at this late date) is what to do about the consequences of our delay in doing what was necessary when it was needed.

and just what could have been done to prevent the natural climate change???

the climate changes naturally...has many, many, many times over the last 4 billion years...has ZERO to do with man....

man does need to adapt:... not build cities below sealevel....not build right on the shore....use the warmer and wetter weather and extended growing seasons to feed the 7 billion people on this earth

adapt and overcome.... not tax and screw

Sounds good to me!
I keep wondering when the adaptations will start.
After all this time, nothing is being done.
I have to wonder WHY?

Because that would be socialism.
And socialism is BAD.

Climate change (as you correctly state) is a natural recurring cycle; however, what we are seeing now is abrupt climate change that is unprecedented in geological history. What could have been done (and should have been done) was to institute policies to reduce carbon emissions and industrial pollution of the atmosphere that have reduced the ozone layer that shields the earth from the sun's rays, and restore the natural balance. All life depends on a delicate balance of the great forces of nature, it only takes a small change to result in catastrophic meteorological events causing destruction and devastation across the continents. What the scientists have been saying is that we must reduce the carbon emissions or face the consequences. The earth has the capacity to restore the depleted ozone; but it will not happen unless we stop spewing industrial gases into the atmosphere at the current rate. It is too late now when the consequences of our delay are visited upon us.

The earth will survive; but we won't.

Who exactly is saying that the US military doesn't need to change its ways?

" is what to do about the consequences of our delay in doing what was necessary when it was needed."

Gee, winter, summer, spring, and fall, climate, has been around for a loooong time.

IMO, anyone who thinks they can change that is beyond help.

Note, at first it was Global Warming. When THAT became a laughing stock, they changed the name of the cause to Climate Change.

Who can deny that the climate changes in most of the U.S 4 times a year/
