If she believes that then it's probably true in her case. Not all circumstances are the same. In another scenario maybe the gun would have been effective.

Its not just the girl who wanted concealed carry. The stats show that a woman is 80: EIGHTY times more likely to have her handgun taken from her by a rapist versus using it to prevent a rape.
