What does that even mean? Believe in something "larger than themselves?"
Like what? What's larger than oneself?
If something or someone is presenting itself as larger than myself, then i'd damn sure better see it or its tangible effects. Heal children, stop wars and genocides, give rain to people experiencing drought, prevent natural disasters from killing tens of thousands of people...
But this thing that's supposed to be larger than myself isn't doing that, is it? If it is, then show it to me.
right because you want someone to do these things for you because you would rather be a robot instead of having free will. life is not fair, never has been never will be. did your father do everything for you when you were younger? no he didnt. you learned to do for yourself, and to handle any problems that came up. if there is a god, he is doing the same thing your father did for you, letting you learn from your mistakes, and deal with life as it comes at you.

Yes. There should be 44 Catholics and 19 Jews on the Supreme Court.
The only thing that bothers me is that the Jews murdered Jesus and the Catholics follow the Antichrist (the Pope). But you can't expect a graduate of Oral Roberts to sit on the Supreme Court, so we're stuck with 'em.

Though I don't take issue with it, the absence of any Protestant is numerically odd. With 1/2 the population identifying as Protestant and only a total 7 Catholics and 5 Jews being on the Court prior to the incumbents, the current religious breakdown is historically unique.
