Or perhaps fear of GW"Mad Dog"B's tireless patrolling over Alabama is what kept the armadas of Vietcong long-range bombers from razing the state to the ground. Ever think of that, smart guy?

Depends. Beheading captured enemy soldiers is a war crime, but it is not terrorism by any reasonable definition.

Nukes are useless now. The fallout will harm our allies. Its all nonsense. People watch to many rambo and James bond movies and play COD. Bomb who exactly? Reading these macho comments make me laugh. This isn't ww2 with the us having the only nukes... Everyone has nukes......

This is inconsistent with the Dr. Strangelove scenario being discussed. The "rest of" the world includes many of their friends and client states.

Where is a middle eastern strongman when you need him???? Saddam kept all the jihadists in check..... Assad kept his nut balls in check. Mubarak and khaddafi kept his lunies in check........ There is a reason why we have smart people using strategy to keep us safe. Anarchy in that region unleashes hell on our interests. The Bush doctrine let the inmates out. We should have openly condemned Saddam's brutal regime while financing his crackdown on Islamic militants . chess not checkers boys...

I can't stop laughing at the "nuke em all" nonsense... I imagine an out of shape middle aged man wearing a freedom shirt in front of his desktop computer...

There was shock and awe alright....with the american people. How could we be so stupid to get into a war we didn't need to start. What exactly did this do for us....absolutely nothing.
