The free/reduced lunch program has been changed to address all the overweight poor kids.
I highly doubt there will be dead starving in the streets.
Do you go food shopping at the gas station ? They take EBT you know.
You can buy Easter baskets full of candy with an EBT card.
You can buy the whole gamut of junk food with an EBT card.
And EBT is SUPPLEMENTAL to what they normally spend.
wow Guess we don't need food police because we already have them out in droves. Some of our overweight folks that get foodstamps buy things like macaroni,spaghetti, etc to stretch their money to last a month.
I want my poor to look like they are poor. Unless they are living in the woods or under a bridge, they need to say "thank you" every time they hold out their hands for benefits.
American "poor" are repulsive selfish land-whales that always want more.
Only in America can we measure the "poor" in nautical tonnage.
The poor should look the part, all hollow-cheeked and ricketty and most importantly grateful for societies permission to parasitize it.
Can you imagine showing footage of "poor" people in America to those living in poverty in places like India and Sub-Saharan Africa? You don't see many two-ton fatties in third world countries.
These ungrateful food stamp collectors are complaining that they aren't getting enough handouts. None of these people look like they're going hungry to me. Especially not the one in the Armani shirt.

We'd have to use those giant Panamax ships to haul their fat asses over there of course, but it should be worth it in EBT savings alone.
Armani's story that she doesn't eat is a hard sell. She looks quite healthy and $925 a month should be able to keep food on the table especially since the children eat free at school.

My wife and I both work and make a decent income, and our grocery budget is right around $300 a month. We manage to feed our family of four 3 healthy meals a day, yet these people are complaining that a grocery allotment which is 3 times as much as ours isn't enough? Ba hahaha... I was in a hospital parking lot where I could see a row of houses where the poor lived. There they were, sitting out on their steps, two-ton fatties wearing clothes that were skin tight, one girl her belly hanging out, kids all around. Just chillen, hanging out on the porch watching the fools going to work to support them.
