Everyone's situation is different & sometimes s*** just happens. I get that people get mad when they see fraud but, it to generalize & say what u did shows your lack of empathy for anyone but yourself.
The free/reduced lunch program has been changed to address all the overweight poor kids.
I highly doubt there will be dead starving in the streets.

Do you go food shopping at the gas station ? They take EBT you know.

You can buy Easter baskets full of candy with an EBT card.
You can buy the whole gamut of junk food with an EBT card.

And EBT is SUPPLEMENTAL to what they normally spend.

The video you just watched in the OP was aired on July 2nd, 2008, when GW Bush was still president of the United States. It is shown to deliberate mislead and make you think this is current. That's almost 6 years ago. The world has changed dramatically since july, 2008.

Yes- I'm sure it's easier than ever to get freebies & handouts......
Now more than ever it pays to crank out kids w/ no way to feed them.

It is when we're all paying for it. It certainly is our business.

Really? That's quite a blanket statement you made there. How about supporting your claim with a few facts or links, or are you just blowing smoke. I'll match your unfounded BS with facts and statistics to show that you are wrong.
Let's go.

And not for the better. Since 2009 most welfare programs had their eligibility reduced or expanded to include lots more people.

Look at the carts of the food stamp people in the video, it's all junk food. They are even too lazy to prepare healthy meals with their handouts.
You have to remember though that the government allows it.
The government isn't doing much to change it either.

All food is scanned now so it's quite easy for the EBT card to reject junk food, easter baskets, etc.
Just let EBT pay for staples. If they want junk they can pay with their own dime.

OK. So what do you people want? All you do is complain and throw out wild claims of abuse and fraud but never validate it with any hard facts. Just a feeling you have.

So lets just cut to the chase. What do you want?

If you want to just completely kill the SNAP program, drop the other shoe and just come right out and say so.
If you want to fix the program, be specific and tell us all how you would do that. Not just a Bumper sticker solution like "Get Rid Of All Fraud and Abuse" but drill down and tell us all HOW you would get rid of all fraud and abuse.

It's time you all stop sniveling about the situation and be specific with your solutions so everyone knows exactly where you stand. All you ever do is whine about the situation and dance around the issue, but you never offer workable, concrete solutions because you know that people will pin your azzes to the wall if you openly declared that you want to kill the entire program.
At the same time, you have no realistic solutions for addressing the wrongs you actually see in the program.
When one takes away the whining and sniveling from you all, one finds that you're all empty suits with no answers to the perceived problems and workable solutions to offer.
Your only contribution to the argument is a video from 6 years ago when GW Bush was president that you attempt to pawn off as current. You point to that and say" Just look at that abuse"

I have seen a couple of posts backed up with links.
Did you skip over those ?

How to fix it ? Annual audits to verify eligibility and kick those out that don't qualify and bring charges against them.

The FCC did that with lifeline and 60% got kicked out. Saved us over $1 billion a year.

What I would like is for these idiots to stop breeding and producing children they expect the tax payers to take care of. If you're already on SNAP with two kids, don't go having three more.
