My coverage & deductible stayed exactly the same.
Premiums increased 93%.

Yes, you appear to be. Everything else that has been written about it on this forum has been extremely positive.
Really? Do you actually believe what you type? You approve of government extortion and lies to force this on citizens and just give it to illegals?

You need to expand your reading list to include other points of view that differ from your own.

Another example of extortion, government sanctioned to fit an unpopular political agenda.

If it is so great, put it to a vote and abide by the outcome.

People, it was never intended to help anyone. It was designed bottom up to transfer our money to for profit insurance companies and big pharma.

Google crony capitalism. And remember the ACA whenever someone says Democrats care about people.

You do realize that Medi-Cal is not the same thing as ACA, right?

Guess what? I as an American do not have a choice of whether or not I can opt out of these things given to me. Instead of targeting Americans who are still struggling from a recovering economy, why not target healthcare companies who are ripping off insurance companies and bloating the bill even higher, costing them and their patients thousands of dollars more than their service is worth. How about they let the American people buy insurance when they can afford it? Their law is costing people more money than it needs to be. If I had a choice, I'd opt out of my employer's insurance so I get more hours, and more pay. I'd opt out of being under my parent's insurance so my parents don't have to suffer.

Why not instead target the lower class people who are struggling to get by? Maybe set a law that an employee who is paid up to 50% more than the state's minimum wage is entitled to health insurance benefits at no expense to them. So employers will have to either pay their workers more money so they can buy their own insurance, or buy their insurance for them.
Whats funny is that if you did not have health insurance, and got horrifically sick....you would be fine sticking everyone else with it. So no, since we can't "opt out" of paying if you were to forego insurance, we don't want you to "opt out" of being responsible. On the other hand if you truly can't afford it, we subsidize it. Seems reasonable to me.

The absolute worst thing about it is that the name of it is a misnomer.

ACA is not affordable to the majority, at least without the government subsidies (tax dollars collected from taxpayers) to pay for it. Of course there is no mention of that.

Am I the only one who hates Obamacare?

Am I the only one whose insurance tripled BEFORE ACA?

Lost of O hate but big insurance gets a free pass.

Each year my premiums increased until....... ACA.

Healthcare is not affordable for the majority of people without a subsidy from government or employers.
The majority of US people have healthcare insurance subsidized by their employers. This was true before and after ACA.

How do you determine if someone truly can't afford it? Some can't sure but millions others just don't prioritize their money. So they get cell phones, movies, vacations, new cars, and we still subsidize. Since it's mandatory why don't we audit people who get the subsidies and any luxury items they have are sold off to pay back some of their subsidies.
