Why wasn't this a deal back when it occurred two months ago?
Well DUH! Two months ago, TeamObama thought they could stop Netanyahu from winning an election in Israel ..... and they sent in their own OFA people to do the job.

Today -- they KNOW they failed to stop his win in the election ....... ergo, the "Retaliation".
President Stompy Foot continues on his Revenge/Vengeance Agenda.
His favored party didn't win the Israeli Elections - and they (and the entire Nation) must be punished.

A BIG part of all this is the movement to force Israel to get rid of their Nuclear Weapons. They have long been suspected, but it was an "open secret" sort of thing with no proof.

Obama gave Israel's Enemies all the "proof" they need, little did Israel know that their greatest "enemy" was wearing a mask. Mask is off ... and it's the Head of the Democratic Party in the USA.

Your timeline is off. The report was released in early February as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request. Under what FOI exemption would the gov't not release this 28 year old documemt?

The request to publish the report was initiated three years ago by the American journalist Grant Smith. His plea was based on the Freedom of Information Act and while the Pentagon had lingered Smith filed a lawsuit. A District Court judge for the District of Columbia compelled the Pentagon to address his request.
I didn't realize Obama was a judge, too. With that said, I'm not surprised that Israel has a nuclear program.

[the real surprise would be if they did not]

Yeah, because Israel having nukes is exactly the same thing as Iran having them.

Are you really okay with Iran sparking the real nuclear arms race in the Middle East? You know if they get it, then Saudi Arabia will try to get it, and Egypt. I already live in fear that Pakistan has them. Imagine if their dictator is deposed and a group like the Taliban take over? Ditto Saudi Arabia and Egypt. These countries are not really stable enough to be nuclear powers.

Not only that, he apparently has a time machine, too, and was savvy enough to work out the three year time span it would take while the Pentagon stalled in order for this to be made public right now.

And apparently he is impersonating a reporter named Grant Smith.

This thread is a major fail.

The article says a judge ordered this but the OP blames Obama.

No. I prefer a worldwide nuclear arms race by only a handful of nations, with thousands of nuclear warheads at their disposal, that follow the doctrine of mutually assured destruction.

[keep it reasonable]

Correct, but we generally support our own spies and denounce those of other countries. Or do you have another idea?

I actually think that Israel is less stable than Iran. Long term, I can't see the Arabs and Reform Jews and Haredi living together in peace:
