Your timeline is off. The report was released in early February as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request. Under what FOI exemption would the gov't not release this 28 year old documemt?

Anyway, my point is that those documents related to Israel's threat of the nuclear option were declassified about 2 years ago, so these current documents in question are irrelevant.

It's not but Israel broke a treaty banning nuclear tests and broke countless national and international laws restricting the traffic of nuclear materials.
Israel also had a huge spy ring which stole nuclear technology from Western countries.
In early February, the Pentagon declassified a 386-page report from 1987, exposing for the first time ever the actual depth of top-secret military cooperation between the United States and Israel — including, amazingly, information about Israel’s unacknowledged nuclear program.
It is believed Israel conducted an underground test in the Negev desert in 1963 and with the assistance of South Africa a test in the Indian Ocean in 1979. It's hard to prove given that Israel has an illegal secret nuclear weapons program that US governments have helped to cover up - and now the right is upset that it is coming to light.
In early February... That really doesn't fit the timeline for being retaliatory.
Why wasn't this a deal back when it occurred two months ago?
The announcement that Netanyahu was going to address Congress was in January so the timeline fits perfectly.

It seems to me it is a good thing they did. We've seen what a reliable ally the U.S. If Israel didn't have nukes of their own they would have to rely on the U.S. for support.

Hmmm two thoughts..... first, we only know that Israel supplied information on the Iran talks because (wait for it......) the U.S. was spying on Israel. (or were they spying on the Speaker of the House?)
Second, Israel got the information not by spying on Obama (all they would learn are about golf scores and fund raising trips), but by spying on the Iranians.
Better that the Speaker of the House collude with an ally to know what the executive is up to since he won't consult with Congress, as he is supposed to than Obama colluding with an enemy to damage the country and an ally.

The Israelis were spying on Iran to get this information. I have no doubt that they do gather intelligence on the U.S. just as the U.S. does with Germany, France, the UK and everyone else.
