The IAEA is not there to asses Iran's nuclear-anything......they are there to assess Iran's ballistic and non-ballistic missile program under the guise of a non-existent Iranian nuclear weapons program.
Iran legally entered the NPT, bared fruit from the NPT, and then violated the NPT by conducting activities other than nuclear energy production. It is unbelievably and comically this simple.

Iran is prohibited by several UNSC resolutions against any BM's.

Quote:
There is no past nuclear weapons program.

You only know about Iran's nuclear energy program, because Iran came to the US and told the Bush Administration in 2003.

Something you continually ignore.

Like Göbbels would do, you omit critical info to make it sound like Iran "got caught" with a nuclear program.

Not true....Iran complied with the NPT.
Repetition does not make a false claim true.

Since you don't have what it takes to be a real Conservative, you should go play with the RHINOs....

Iran has failed to adopt the safeguards and additional protocol.

The oil won't last forever. Its really not our place to determine another countries energy policies at that? Where in the world does the idea that it is come from?

U.S allies are worried that Obama's secret deal will allow Iran the bomb in the future, which will drag us into an regional conflict even more.
It's entirely our choice to get involved in their spats or not.

God, the amount of people who know nothing about the current situation is mind boggling. People love to shove their opinions down everybody's throat but at least know something...

Iran is a client to the NPT, in which they agreed to create a nuclear program for energy purposes. They signed the NPT and received the know how and materials to construct it. They have since violate the NPT by researching nuclear weapons capability and not allowing inspectors in its undeclared sights.

Imagine if your a landlord and your tenants will allow you in your house other than the bedroom. Iran has expressed nuclear genocide to Israel, advocated death to the U.S, and has engaged in a proxy war to establish a new Persian Empire. Sitting idle and minding our business will bring the U.S a costly price.

LOL.....we violate or negate any treaty we no longer want to follow. We can't hold other countries to a standard we won't hold ourselves to.

This is the same scare tactics used for the last 50 years. The Soviet Union never attacked us. North Korea never attacked us. Vietnam never attacked us. Iraq was never actually a threat.

Our leaders have threatened attacks on Iran constantly also. Why is that different?

It's interesting how many liberals take an arrogant attitude and insult conservatives without actually being able to provide any evidence or bring a real argument to the table.

Iran's Plan

I liked the part were Obama removed Iran, the largest sponsor of terrorists in the middle east, from the list of countries that soponser terrorism.

I've said it a thousand times but he is a Terrorist Sympathizer.

Dems need to forget the "good" of the party before he kills more and more innocents through complete stupidity. Do the right thing and impeach him. At this point, Biden would be better.

I guess you don't know.

Total BS.

"Destructive power" is relative.

The Knights threw a hissy fit when slaves got cross-bolts.

Woe to thee great nobleman who is felled by a lowly slave......and from a distance at that.

The Nobility even went so far as to demand that only free-men be given cross-bolts for battle, and of course the Roman Catholic Church chimed in with its "instrument of Satan" nonsense.

They got over it.

I imagine some people lacking in intelligence are easily swayed by emotion.

The sky will not be forever gray, no matter what TIME says. It's an issue of physics.

Take that up with your god.

So, you're saying it would be another 9-11 where the Police State was asleep at the wheel, having engaged in debauchery all night with the Intelligence Community?

Imagine if Napoleon had B-58 Hustlers at the Battle of Waterloo.

You'd be getting fat eating all that French food with those rich cream sauces.

What are you going to do when there is a Paper Wad Bomb?

I realize your understanding of things-nuclear is ZERO, but try to follow along here.

The fissioning of any atom -- any atom -- yields 180 MeV of energy.

Right now, for technological reasons, you are limited to using medium to fast moving neutrons and fissile material.

Soon.....you won't need fissile material, because you'll be able to use any fissionable material.

And then you won't need fissionable material, since you'll be able to use any material.

An 8 1/2" by 11" sheet of paper would take out 4 city blocks.

But it has always been up to you, to make sure they follow the Constitution.

3rd Party is the way....

It is neither the right nor the role of The United States to be the arbiter of other sovereign nations in regards to the technological activities of those nations. This is a technology which is possessed by The US itself, as well as by a nearby hostile nation. As a species, we can't unsplit the atom. Iran is as entitled to pursue this technology as is any other country.

The scares were just that.

The single most effective political advertisement in US history was the 1964 "Daisy/Girl/Peace" ad (whatever you want to call it), which ran only once.

That's how effective it was.

It starts with a very you
ng girl in a field of daisies picking petals off of a daisy and counting "1,2,3,...9" at which time a male voice can be heard counting "9,...5,4,3,2,1,0" followed by (what I think) is the Bimini blast, a 1 megaton thermo-nuclear test shot, which engulfed your entire TV screen. Johnson then can be heard saying:

"These are the stakes -- to make a world in which all God's children can live -- or go into the dark. We must either love each other or we must die."

Then a voice over says,

"Vote President Johnson on November 3rd. The stakes are too high for you to stay home."

Goldwater was portrayed as a nuclear nutter who would let the missiles fly at the Soviet Union.

That's the great irony.

JFK and LBJ were the war-mongers and nuclear nutters, not Goldwater.

Dumbass JFK by-passed the Senate....just like Obama did...and entered into agreements with Italy and Turkey (separately) to deploy Jupiter IRBMs (and also with the UK to deploy the Matador -- a very primitive non-ballistic missile), because the President is allowed to do that.

JFK did that, in spite of the fact that Eisenhower told JFK repeatedly in face-to-face meetings, via telephone calls, and in personal hand-written letters not to deploy the Jupiters.

Eisenhower knew exactly the Soviet repsonse to Jupiter IRBMs in Turkey and Italy would be to deploy similar class missiles in Cuba.

Eisenhower was right; Kennedy was wrong.

Had JFK lived, this would have all come out during the election campaign, and Goldwater would have buried JFK, who would have been portrayed as the idiotic imbecile he was....

...and I wouldn't have to waste band-width counter-socializing people to what really happened
.

For the record, Pulitzer-Prize Winner Walter Lippman was ready to break the story, when RFK leaned on Lippman, convincing him not to publish the story, since it would damage JFK's credibility and standing.

Glad we got that straightened out...

Well, goddam, someone finally mustered up the courage to answer.

Tell us more.

What would the diameter and weight of such a weapon be?

You can assume 4 mm to 5 mm of standard military grade aluminum for the thickness of the weapon casing.

Technically...
