Only in the spelling of the words. Taxes by their nature is a redistribution of wealth. Our most prosperous times have all been when corporate taxes are the highest. Great countries are built from the bottom up, not top down - our own history backs this up but some people refuse to recognize that.
There is no difference between a "tax break" and a "handout", they are by definition, one of the same. A tax break, is a handout.
Well, no. A 'tax break' is a lower effective tax rate.
I do notice that sunspots were also higher in the 1950s, so in the interest of correlation = causation, I think I found another reason for high growth rates in the economy.

TANF is only for 2 years in AZ. They are reducing it to 1 year.
There is HUD for housing and SNAP for food.
TANF is their monthly spending money.
