San Francisco based Uber announced new policy banning firearms both by driver and passengers. How they expect to enforce this is another issue.
More symbolism from the Left Coast.
I use Uber often, and this policy matters not to me.
Reminds me of a recent policy by a coffee shop chain!

It looks like the key to getting the United States in line with the rest of the first world is through the private sector as unfortunately the Republicans will block anything meaningful from getting done.

Great job uber!

Now it's time to put pressure on corporations such as Wal-Mart that sell these killing devices in their stores.

I support your right to own and carry a gun. I support the right of others to say "not on my property".

Are you going to stop supporting and voting for politicians who don't support our right to own and carry guns? If not then your "support" is hollow.

Lol....no, I will not support politicians that try to remove our rights by either restricting gun ownership or forcing guns on others.

Are you truly unable to comprehend the differences in the free choice of individuals and the restricting of that choice by politicians with laws?

They are taking on a big liability by making it impossible for either their drivers or customers to defend themselves. Hopefully they get sued rather quickly after one of their defenseless employees is victimized.
