Don't they realize that it's still a state-controlled economy that represses free speech and forces people to do what planners want them to for the "greater good"? The way right wingers talk nowadays they make China sound like Galt's Gulch. It's still a planned economy. Even if they use the market to further their aims in certain areas, it's far from a free market. The only similarity between China and the free market society conservatives want is that there are no workers' rights and free speech that challenges the ruling regime is curtailed in favor of blind submission.

Not sure where you're delusionally getting that conservatives like either globalism or planned, aka command, economies--which are leftist constructs.

Conservatives think China is perfect except they'd replace China repressing all religions with oppressing every non-Christian religion. Ideal America for the conservatives would be the unfettered crony capitalism and complete lack of labor and environmental laws of China with a Christian equivalent of Sharia law in place (except for banning divorce, the Christbot hypocrites need to have their fun).

Even if they do, so what?

china is important for global economy. Free market, baby.

I've been to China, I don't like the country, but I like the people. I also think Chinese are very friendly and smart. There are lot of craziness in China, but which country is perfect?

America is perfect for conservatives because it is indeed the form of Government that would be perfect for them. Think about it for a minute.
+An abundance of low wage workers, who usually don't complain. The Walton Family, The Donald, Phil Knight, Apple Computers just love it.
+The country is run by the same class of rulers and the people don't have much say about it.
+Ruling class doesn't care about pollution in China (The Koch Brothers have been trying to destroy the EPA for decades now).
+China can export anything they want into the USA and not be taxed. Doesn't Congress renew this every year or so?

I'm a conservative and don't like China? Elites like to use China to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else.

A better question is why do liberals suddenly love criminals and bad behavior?
