If they don't have internet then they don't have computers, if you give them computers what do you think they will do with them?

The poor have always been on the bottom end of getting a education.

I think that you are the one in need of help.
I care about helping those hat truely need it, not providing free entertainment.

When did providing for every aspect of life become "helping the poor"?

Which must be why American productivity is at a all time high?

I will agree they have changed us. In some great ways, and in some bad ways.

As for the moon landing.....Apparently you are unaware that dozens of computers were involved?

I would rather I keep my hard earned tax money instead of funding not needed government programs.

The share-the-wealth movement appeals most to those with the least to share.

Need' now means wanting someone else's money. 'Greed' means wanting to keep your own. 'Compassion' is when a politician arranges the transfer. Joseph Sobran

Inner city kids need more help than most. This is for education. There just might be some blocking software included with this free internet, Did you ever even consider that?

You could sure benefit to go help out the poor at some place and learn what life actually is for so many people.

ASK ANY COLLEGE STUDENT IF THEY CAN SUCCEED IN COLLEGE WITHOUT THE INTERNET.
Having owned and run several very successful business over many years, I can spot a "college student" a mile away and find most of them today are useless. They don't know "how to learn" let alone learn from experience. There was a day when I would hire college students for summer work and they were very well educated without experience, but learned quickly via the summer experience to great advancement. No longer the case. Education has been dumbed down so much that when I was in the 5th and 6th grades I was better educated than any of today's high school graduates and when I graduated high school I was far advanced above today's college graduates.
