That's a very narrow focused view.
Today it's the Park Dept. What about next year or the year after ?
They could become Governor of the state if all they have to do is not take pay and get compensation a different route.

Do you really want citizens of another country making rules/laws for you ?

NYC is working to allow illegals to run for office.

places in blue states (understanding why the lib states aren't the red one is beyond me) are working to give voting rights to illegals.

To be perfectly honest, I am somewhat surprised there are non-illegal immigrants serving on the city council. Isn't that entire city undocumented?

California is a sanctuary state. They embrace the illegals.

Every immigrant advocate I know wants them documented with open borders, so not sure what you mean. The only people who "embrace illegals" are those who support the status quo.

A true lawless, sanctuary city, don't call ICE, just give them a government job instead.

To the open boarders crowd, you are suffering from a form of mental illness. Try opening up the borders to your home, allow complete strangers to take over the spare rooms in your home, or turn your garage into a multi-family dwelling, and they demand you clothe, feed and care for them.

Oh, but it's okay if we throw open the borders of our country so these same strangers can invite themselves in, and some vague unknown entity cares, feeds, educates and clothes them, as long as you aren't the one called upon to do it. It's fine as long as you aren't the one losing your job or having to open your wallet and fork over your own money or cut a check to these people.

I bet the illegal commissioners support the Democrat Party.

But the government embraces them and supports them. It really doesn't matter what the residents think.

The residents of CA voted people into office that embrace the illegals and make laws in their favor.

Documented with open borders ? Oh like the EU ?
Take a good hard look at the EU. Their open borders concept is not as rosy as you think. Great for tourists but not so good for workers.

If they are known illegals, and a local citizen objects to their appointment, isn't it appropriate to contact Homeland Security?
