Do you seriously want to compare your firearm related death stats to Canada's...over any period in your history? With the most recent history from around 2006 showing an average of one mass shooting (4 victims or more per incident) happening on average once every TWO WEEKS!
I don't think you want to go there as regards Canada's gun controls compared to your existing situation.
Just leave us out of your goofy problems.
When Canada is as culturally diverse as the US with unfettered illegal immigration you might have a point.
It seems like everywhere I look and see, I'm being pressured to buy a gun...not just one gun, multiple ones. Gun shows all over the place, advertisements in newspapers and magazines, and non-stop talk about guns on TV and the radio.
It's like American culture expects me to be carrying around a gun 24/7, and that if I don't own multiple firearms, I'm somehow a second class citizen. Anyone else tired of this?
There used to be a law in Massachusetts, around 16XX that every able bodied man of age must own a gun. I think this is the only gun law I like

When i visited the Carolinas this year, i felt this way all the time. There was a "Valentine's Day Special" on "Guns and Coins" promoted in the paper!
The local news reported how a kid "brought his guns to school" and the reported chimed in with "that used to happen to me too!"
Ad my personal fave, the bumper sticker reading: "Only Slaves Don't Own Guns!"
What is the problem with taking responsibility for one's own security ?
Throwing it off onto some one else never works out well , there are too many examples of it . Cops are never there when things go down ,you know that. criminals are not going to give you the time to call the cops before your being robbed .
What in this world makes people so careless and irresponsible ?

That last confuses you, so much? Its just a shortened version of "Armed people are citizens...disarmed people are slaves". JTS not that hard to comprehend. A local pawn shop advertised a weekend special on guns and coins? OH! THE HORROR! San it isn't so. Lol. Ummm...whatever. And finally, when I was in high school, having our guns in our cars/trucks was no cause for concern. We would hunt after school was out, and why waste good field time, having to run home after our guns? That had been going on a LONG time, before I made it to High School, and , wonder of wonders, there was never, not one, incident, involving a gun.
It isn't that way now. Hasn't been since the early 90s. Still, in all that time, prior, not one problem.

No, i'm not a fan of guns but i'm not easily pressured to buy one like you i guess.
I can handle a gun ad on a newspaper, lol.
