Huge chunk of ice just broke off the Jakobshavn glacier in Greenland....

The huge frozen island of Greenland just lost a chunk of ice and the results are dramatic enough to be visible from the space. The massive calf in the infamous Jakobshavn glacier cost the island almost five square miles of ice, which could perhaps make it the biggest calving event on record.

“We are now seeing summer speeds more than four times what they were in the 1990s, on a glacier which at that time was believed to be one of the fastest, if not the fastest, glacier in Greenland,” said Dr. Joughin.

When humans did the painting in the Cosquer Cave 20,000 years ago, the sea level was 390 feet lower than today.

I bet they used SUV's to go buy their paint which caused more global warming and the nearly 400 foot rise in the oceans.

That's not possible. When Obama was campaigning in 08 he promised that the oceans would cease to rise and he would never lie to us. Must be some kind of mistake.

Can't have both happening at once, so can someone make up their minds and figure out what they heck scientists really know?

Some media sources need to do a better job of fact-checking before spouting nonsense.

Some media sources are not even remotely accurate about science. I don't know why some people automatically believe them without doing any fact-checking.
