Good. Either charge them or release them. I could only imagine fighting against my enemy only to be captured and held literally for the rest of my life for doing what I thought was right...just unbelievable..112 left only 53 "eligible" for release....its inhumane.
Some of these prisoners will need to be transferred to the states but restrictions remain, congress has done eveything they can do to make sure this base stays open. Seems to me that some of the existing stateside prisoners are more dangerous than any of the detainees but that won't stop the drama queens from screaming about the dangers.
We dont keep them there cause they're dangerous, we keep them there so US law wont apply. We've been spending $150million a year for decades just to antagonize the Cubans, cant we find something better to spend this money on?

Can. But politics and compromise and will of the people are 3 things that don't go together.
It's either execute them now, or have to do it again when they return to battle.
They at the very least in their own minds were defending their people, nation, etc from foreign invasion. I don't blame them for fighting one bit. Especially when at one time the US government was funding the very people we are now fighting....can't expect them to understand how the corrupt system of the US works. They just knew they were fighting when invaders invaded their country and started killing for the profits of corporations. I would do the same if my country was invaded,I suspect you would as well. Now that they have but made into militants, highly pissed off, abused etc by YEARS often over a decade of torture, abuse and locked in a cage are you seriously surprised when they actually fight back once returned to society? I sure would!

Prisoners of a War. Nothing inhumane about it. How humane was it to be part of killing close to 3000 US Citizens. We treat them feal well too. Our POW historically havent been treated as good as these guys.
