If you look you will see where I complain about that all over the place. It's odd how we are going into billions of dollars of debt over these useless wars but yet those who support them are not stepping up to pay for them, but damn have someone want something worthwhile like an education and look out.
Specifically, who is supporting them and not paying for them?
I know that I don't want these wars. I want the military budget should be cut. I want foreign bases closed. I want troops brought home. I want money sent over seas, including that to Israel to be cut off.
I do NOT want free college. If YOU want a college education, YOU must be willing to invest in it. If YOU think it costs too much, YOU should be telling these universities to reduce their spending in order to reduce the cost of admission. Are college campuses meant to be gorgeous resorts are places of education?
If you are not willing to invest in your education, you obviously don't want it very bad.
The majority of federal government spending is on social programs, not the military. Not to mention the military is one of the few requirements of federal spending in the constitution, unlike social programs or college tuition.
The founders explicitly warned us about getting the military involved in other countries we have no business being in.

Are they being paid for? No, we are going further and further in debt so the answer to that would be all of us. Why are you not demanding they be paid for?

O.K. but we are doing all of the things you claim you do not want (and I would agree) and there are some benefiting financially from these wars in many ways, so why shouldn't others ask where theirs is at?
If Keely Mullen is a prime example of what an educated young person is these days, we're in HUGE trouble. She had NO CLUE of which she spoke. Poor girl has rendered herself unemployable in any type of a business capacity whatsoever.

Don't blame Northeastern, she already arrived there without critical thinking skills. That skill is indoctrinated out of children starting in Pre-K these days.
I'm afraid you don't know what your talking about. The price of oil, up until recently, was controlled largely by the Cartel, OPEC, which artificially kept prices high by curbing production. It had nothing to do with our economic crisis that began in late 2008. Oil prices are down now because of increased supply in the US, largely because of "fracking," but also because of new discoveries and increased drilling. But demand has also been down, and with increased supply and lower demand, prices fall. People investing do not drive prices up.
Nobody said that college grads create businesses and jobs (at least not upon graduating). Some highly successful businesses have been created by people without any college education, or very little.

If the youth don't get what they want..that is a microagression against them.
And that new term is so gray that even a "Hello" can be an act of microaggression.
Our government spends more on the military industrial complex than all other governments, combined. And that my folks comes out of your tax dollars. European countries like France and Norway have similar tax burdens as those of the USA but have much better public services, free health care, etc. Because they don't spend their tax dollars on killing people.
