Mayor Rahm Emanuel of Chicago, formerly Obama's Chief of Staff, has decided to throw his police force under the bus by firing the CPD Police Chief today. Some local community protesters are also calling for his resignation.

Should Rahm Emanuel resign?

What do you think?

Mayor Rahm Emanuel blames Chicago crime wave on police officers becoming 'fetal' out of fear they will get in trouble during arrests

I dont think there will be much pressure on him because, well, its rahm, the dual citizen. He's a perfect fit for chitcago. Personally I'd have him resigned from the planet.

Does it really matter? Chicago with Emanuel is just as bad as Chicago without him.

If he did resign, I guess he could always go back to playing Tinkerbell in the ballet. Well, either that, or he could be the hostess for the new "Barry's Bath House and Bistro" that's scheduled to open on the Magnificent Mile in late January, 2017.

Yep! Doesn't matter, Chicago is just a Corrupt S-hole as it's always been. Rahm fits right in.

You might be right but he still needs to be held responsible, if he stays in office after this then what's next. He needs to go, leaving him in means that he can pretty much do anything and get away with it.

We hear all the time that the other option is just as bad, time to find out.

Maybe the FBI or DOJ have a say in his removal.

Maybe they can find someone who has turned around a big city, if such a person(s) truly exist

I don't think we'll hear anything from Loretta Lynchmob, considering the fact that Rahm "Tiny Dancer" Emanuel is a Democrat.

But I do agree with you -- he needs to be held accountable. Very slim chance, however, that he will be held accountable in Obama's America.

Rahm is tossing bodies under the buss to save his hide.

Another unethical pol whose position as mayor is fully responsible for the actions of the police.

don't hink for a second RM did't know about the video. funny how the video pops up in obamaworld as a defensive mechanism. Benghazi, Planned parenthood, chicago 16 shot murder...all hinge on a video.

The FBI is investigating we will see.

Take every opportunity to bring Obama into the conversation, never ends.

Chicago knew who he was when they elected him. They have no standing to ask him to resign.
