Sorry guys...what you do not seem to be able to deal with is Obama is the ultimate President. No one does that sort of speech as well as he. Even when I strongly disagree I admire the way he tells the tale.

Well, properly vetting crazy Muslim terrorist chicks visa application would have worked. A fake/invalid address, spending time in a crazy Muslim mosque, having terrorists as family members might have stopped crazy Muslim terrorist chick from converting an American Muslim into a crazy Muslim terrorist guy.

The simple truth is, we don't. Putting them on a list won't stop them from buying anything at all. No ban or prohibition has ever stopped those who really wish to do whatever is banned. Not alcohol, not drugs, not guns. Felons are banned from purchasing firearms, yet urban blight areas are full of felons who have firearms. You caould place a full ban on every firearm that exists, but someone who intends to commit a terrorist attack will still find a way to obtain a firearm. Not the answer you wanted, but reality isn't always pleasant.
