All of your posts in this thread point to an inability to grasp the security issue involved in allowing Syrians and others from the Middle East entry into our country. You are ignoring the events that have taken place worldwide, ignoring the warning issued by James Comey and the promise made by leaders in ISIS simply because you feel it's the humane thing to do.
If you feel the need to be warm and fuzzy and take in people we cannot properly screen, at the risk of all of us, then I hope it's someone you love, rather than someone I love, paying the price for an approach that disregards facts and all common sense.

Hearing Trump and his rhetoric the last couple of days and weeks I am reminded of this poem unfortunately. Trump is sounding frightening close to some of the facist regimes world views and way of thinking from back then.
It is even scarier to see so many Americans seemingly agree with him. Trump is an opportunist, who exploits the current events and fear of many americans to his benefit.
The shame is that his alternative is the equally unacceptable Hilary Clinton.
Trump is a rable rousing demagogue. He spews hatred and has little knowledge of US government or international relations.

You should have felt physically sick when you heard that 14 people who did nothing wrong but come to work were slaughtered.
It should have made you physically sick at how easy it was for this woman to come into this country.
It should have made you physically sick that neighbors who suspected they were up to no good, let their fear of being labeled a racist override their common sense and failed to notify authorities.
