He is in the running and tied with FDR and pushing on Wilsons high standard.

Isn't the entire Republican party an anti-government militia?

No. Many of the Republicans are no different than the "we can never spend enough of the taxpayers money" liberals.

The distrust for government has been growing since I was a kid over 60 years ago when I was 5. nothing has changed tot he positive ever.
The immorality in government has been a infection long in the making and many of the government actions have been questionable through out most wars and conflicts.
The issues of the economy emphasize the continued failure and eventual break down of the republic.
Communism has been successful in systematically altering this once great nation. Greed and corruption wins. poor and rich both are as greedy selfish grasping .
The early days I remember , people were more community ,not by mandate, but because it was the culture of community all on it's own.
When you mandate something,, character changes, and the entitlement mentality is borne .
If you must earn the respect of community, you do what it takes to maintain that respect .
Most of those on welfare, I believe, don't know any thing of this . hence we have a serous problem.
Those in government pushing for more control

It's not like they have taken control of a multi-story IRS building in Oregon. This building is the equivalent of a rest stop on a hiking trail. I'm pretty sure that if you were out winter hiking, this insurgency would be more than happy to let you hike through and get a trail map.

I don't think the groups are anti-government, they oppose violations of the constitution. Doesn't every American oppose the government violating the constitution?

BTW, If the source is the Southern Poverty Law Center, they are not exactly unbiased, they take a pretty strong anti-gun stance.

The Government decides, of course. If your a "Group" of more than two, and armed, your an anti-Government Militia. The irony is, that here your a Militia, and you aren't when they want Gun Control. Kind of blows the Theory that gun grabbers use, saying Armed Citizens are not to be considered Militia.

There are many Progressive Republicans out there. Ask Mitt "I'm a Progressive Republican" Romney.

They couldn't do that. First of all, most of them could not pass a Background check to buy a gun. Second, some of them are likely Felons and aren't allowed to be near Guns, and last, they aren't smart enough to pull that off. Its tough to sell yourself as a Militia when your looting, rioting, and crashing peoples events.
