Yeah, that's been talked to death on Twitter. If there's anything to it (and I too heard someone in a feed say "talent release"), it's not crisis acting.
Most likely imo it's got something to do with David Fry, the johnny-came-late who set up the website, maintained a heavy social media presence, and has been obsessively live-streaming. Probably has a blog, too. I think he's a wannabe documentary maker, and that's his whole reason for being there, even though he is legitimately sympathetic to the cause. He's the grandiose and nerdy type who would think whatever he's doing is so important that he needs to get talent releases from the others - now, not later, in case they get killed.
The group at the refuge wanted all federal deeds voided allowing private owners to take over, transfer the refuge to the county and unlimited free grazing rights on federal lands.
I doubt the county would even want to take over the refuge, do they have the money or want the responsibility. Who would decide what ranchers acquire federal land, unlimited use of federal lands by ranchers and who takes responsibility for over grazing the state, the county?

LE shooting white people = good
LE shooting black people = bad
Does that sum it up?
No.
LE shooting UNARMED people = bad
LE shooting armed people who vowed violence if threatened = a consequence to poor decision making.
It really isn't that difficult. And if you bothered to do your own research, you would know that BLM members protested the shooting of an unarmed white kid.

Though I'll agree on one part-charge at the police, assault them or reach for a gun...expect to get ventilated. Not that much different than lil Mikey Brown or Tamir Rice.
You are really, really reaching here. Are you that desperate? Are you really trying equate unarmed protesters disrupting civilians from shopping to armed men threatening violence on anyone, including LEO?
Why would unarmed protesters be shot to death by cops? Can you PLEASE answer that? When did BLM or OWS arm themselves and threaten violence against LEO like these "patriots" did??
The fact that you would compare this grown man who was armed with a real weapon, and made a choice...no, made a vow to behave in such the manner he did to a 12 year old with a toy gun is quite pathetic.
Edit: Another thing. You and other posters keep harping about the government overstepping their boundaries and their over-enforcement with these "patriots", yet you seem to support cops silencing unarmed protesters with bullets. Brilliant logic.

Thanks for this......I don't know who David Fry is and I thought this was strange. There is another video they are claiming a woman at the Oregon standoff, was also another woman acting like she was a friend of the family.......they are claiming she was also seen at the Sandy Hook shootings. Strange, stuff out there!

David Fry, their tech guru is an avoid anti-semite and Isis supporter. He said this on his google blog: "“ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS FOR ISIS TO NUKE ISREAL TO HELL” in a Nov. 30 post."
