Socialism isn't Europe's problem. Vote buying scheme's by politicians that don't fund those scheme's are.

I was just looking at the numbers, no politics involved. Come back next week and tell me how that pension fund of yours is doing...

The same can be said for capitalism in some ways. Or to put it bluntly "The problem with capitalism is that eventually everyone else runs out of money to give to those who get a advantage" - Me

As for putting paid to a world government, that's hilarious. No one expects one but the crazies, and guess what? Nothing is changing there.

We are 19 trillion in debt. We long ago ran out of money. We would be worse than Greece if we couldn't just print, print. print. That isn't going to last forever.

How about the nation was created by British immigrants, our law and culture are derived from the same, we've always joined together in times of crisis and we probably share more ideals and beliefs than any other country except perhaps Canada.

It will be fine. I've been out of the markets since the first of the year. Screwing over millions so your pension will do well is a pretty crappy position to take at that.

In recent times, no governor has supported the super Minority of people who desire their state leave the union.
And because it's the southerners that are always wanting to leave, yet their contributions are less than other parts of the country, I tend to think "let them go". I have a different word for them and it's not patriot.

I do think Trump supporters tend to be happy to see Britain break away. The demographic is similar as well.

Interesting you mention Southerners, because there are plenty of them that still don't know how that turned out.

I don't know how it will turn out for England in the long run, no one does, but I am not at all confident they will ever regain the financial strength they had yesterday. As for visiting, you should, it's everything you would imagine.
Let's not confuse the state of Texas with some Texans.

SCOTUS put the kabosh on Texas or any state leaving, 150 years ago.

I'm not a Trump supporter. I am happy for them.
