The majority of Americans love Trump. He will win in 2020.

I like Real Clear using all the polls to come up with an average.

Some probably do sample more right or left.....but when you average it out -- you wipe out those extremese and get the middle ground.

Also -trends.

If the trend has been declining or improving for all of the polls that tells us what direction we are going in.

They all seem to follow the same trend.

For me -- the big takeaway. Trump inherited a great economy and even with that -- in the last year and a half -- his approval ratings haven't gone up at all.

He is struggling.

Does that mean I think he will lose in 2020 -- pfft - who knows -- we don't know what's going to happen in November, let alone two years from now.

Rasmeussen -- Trump's favorite -- is recording a 6% increase in those that strong disapprove of Trump since he took office. That's not a good trend right?

Downward trend until December, when the tax bill passed. Then back up and has hovered just under 44% since May.

Trump supporters are sticking with him and his tweets.

I suspect most other people are paying scant attention to his antics.

Unless something big happens that shakes folks awake, they're concerned about their own lives, not his.

I tend to watch the spread. Rasmussen had Trump at +14 back in January. Rasmussen has him at -12 now.

Quinnipiac, USAToday, IBD/TIPP, Gallup, ... all have Trump in the minus category, some with a spread in the -20s.

The absurdity of this post made me laugh. Majority? Trump could not even get a plurality in the 2016 election and his support has only gone down from there.

Another blunder by our Founders but he`s not going to be president for very long. He may or may not finish his term but there won`t be another.

President Trump’s poor approval ratings — 60 percent disapprove/36 approve — also spill into related areas. The numbers are even worse for Trump when the poll turned to the investigation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which is supported by 63 percent of Americans despite the constant attacks against it by the administration and its allies. The poll says that 49 percent believe impeachment proceedings are in order, compared to 46 percent opposed. [WaPost] {ABC]
