44.9% if the last 6 polls - taken since 9/18 - are used to measure.

The Quinnipiac poll, taken, 9/9, shows 38%. For some reason Quinnipiac has always been wrong. They predicted a Hillary win, 47% to 40%.

another good day for trump, he had another .4% boost to bring his RCP rating up to -8.6%

if nothing major happens then i'm guessing that his approval will level off here for awhile at around 43.7%. that seems to be the comfort zone.

So polls now matter? Or not? Make up your mind.

Trump believes in polls.

But Trump is ok with you to not believe in them right now. If his ratings ever go positive you can bet Trump will be crowing about them. Much of his lying is a naked attempt to turn his poll numbers around. For Trump, perception is reality.
