Trump's consolidated approval rating (44%) is the same as on inauguration day 2 years ago:
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...oval-6179.html

He is no less popular than when he was elected. The left has done nothing to address the complaints of middle America and instead has doubled down on "resisting" Trump and calling anyone not leaning left a racist, homophobe, climate change denier, etc etc.

How's alienating half the country working out for you?

Maybe it's time for plan B?

He is no more popular, either. He has done absolutely nothing to try to be the president of all America. He panders only to his base, so of course they remain loyal to him.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country has had its eyes opened during the last several years. He won't be able to fluke his way into the White House a second time.

Imagine being proud of a guy who can't even get half of the voting population to say they approve of him. That's what you are excited about. And that speaks for itself.

Well half the country refuses to accept anything less than full enforcement of "traditional Christian values." The other half wants to preserve our free and secular society.

The only way conservatives are going to get their theocracy is if the country splits. If they try to force it on the blue states, the blue states will eventually split.

Sure buddy.

But you left out the big poll taken in nov 2018...

Trump even said it was about him, Trump extensively campaigned , Trump used everything he had to get out his supporters...

Poll result?

Biggest loss for Republicans in a midterm... EVER.

A staggering 80 seat swing. Republicans were utterly destroyed in the midterms precisely because of Trump.

Then you should feel the same way towards Trump who is well known for the nasty way he treats people beneath him.

Wow, Texas and Louisiana? Holy crap. And that's before the steady drip, drip, drip of what is on the near horizon. I've been saying Texas would go blue sooner than most people thought. Maybe 2020 will be the year.

Not too many people are proud of Trump, they basically have no choice but to vote for him
