I get to see lots of hurt and dead kids.
99% of them didn't get that way bc of a gun.
Cars, pools, lakes, trampolines, football, falling/tipping furniture, mother’s boyfriends inability to handle crying, pure neglect, rx and illegal drug overdose...are we banning all these?

The guns grabbers don't want to hear anything but guns are bad. It is their agenda to try and take rights away from Americans. Facts do not matter.
33000 gun deaths in this country.
Minus 22000 for suicide.
Minus another 8000 for gang-related shootings.
So 9/10 gun deaths are just morons, deadbeats, and poor hurting souls who would have just found another way to off themselves.
Let's present the real facts and not the drama.
Oh I'm not disputing the facts or disagreeing with you....I was correlating your comment with the knuckleheads comment about guns not being an harmless inanimate object.
Oh yes, a gun is nothing but a harmless inanimate object. Sort of like a sponge or a marshmellow or a freshly made batch of custard in a tin foil pie pan.
Yes it is, I know anti gun nuts have a hard time grasping that fact - pretty ignorant for people who constantly brag about how educated they are. So you think a gun isn't a harmless inanimate object, you think it's like a rattlesnake, a scorpion, a bear or a dog that can act on it's own volition. And you wonder why people say liberalism is a mental disorder.
Regarding younger children - it is on the gun owner to ensure their firearms are out of reach of the curious toddler. I'm sure others can chime in with other viable courses of action...but those are the immediate ones that come to mind.
If he felt it so necessary to have a firearm loaded and ready to fire in his neighborhood (and I've been in that situation before), he certainly should have had the gun in the bathroom with him. What use would it have been, if his house had been invaded, for him to come running wet, soapy, and naked out of the bathroom looking for his gun?
[quote=GregW;44158377]I believe all children should be taught how to handle dangerous things properly. Suppose a sharp kitchen knife had fallen on the floor. Kids should know either how to pick it up without getting cut or cutting someone else.

Thanks Arron to reopen the coastal areas and won't be as all into everything the B team is up anwarkind momendrix fith waking about. Same applies to guns. Telling a child not to touch something is dangerous exercise in futility. Teaching a kid that they can hurt themselves is much more effective.
How did this gun kill the girl when she pulled the trigger? It's a terrible accident though I place blame on the father for not keeping his firearm secured away from his children.
Yes like I said THE FATHER HAS A DANGEROUS WEAPON AND HE DIDNT TAKE PROPER CARE OF IT!!!!!!
A moron who shouldnt have had it in the first place!! (And an innocent girl suffers because of his lack of caring)
AND I BET THIS IDIOT STILL HAS THE GUN ALSO!!!!!!!!!!
