It gave the authorities 72 hours to prove their case against a suspected terrorist---that's just not realistic.
Unilaterally allowing a bureaucracy to strip someone of their rights is not realistic. Both of these amendments would have faced an uphill battle in the courts.
We had the chance here to help prevent guns from getting into the hands of potential terrorists on the terrorists watch list. The keyword in that sentence is potential hence the reason they would have justified it in court of law. The Democrats have failed you.
