IF women could "control" their periods; not giving them tampons would be OK. But, ladies have NO say so when they have their cycles unless they're taking some kind of meds.
I'm informed it's quite common for school restrooms to have soap next to the sink. One of them hygiene things.
There are showers in schools so why aren't we providing body soap, shampoo, conditioner and deodorant? Kids eat all of their meals at school now since their parents are too high to actually feed them, so we should probably provide tooth brushes, toothpaste and floss too.

Which is why every woman I ever know carries a spare or two in their purse.

The implications of going without deodorant aren't comparable to being without a feminine hygiene product, as I suppose you know.
Come on now - why is toilet paper OK and tampons horrible? Is it because men use TP as well, or is it just because the entire subject of menstruation makes you uncomfortable?
Well, there's free toilet paper, soap, and other amenities in public facilities. Sanitation is good for public health as it helps prevent communicable diseases/illnesses. Should you be charged per wipe?
[please tell me you wash your hands]
It is to be expected that real small-government advocates carry soap, paper towels and toilet paper in their man-purse, so as not to have to be dependent on the nanny state.

What annoys me is the government involvement. It's one less thing for people to be responsible for.
How did people ever survive before the government provided free feminine hygiene products? Agreed, we are supremely F'd up.
They bled all over themselves and contributed to the 'dirtiness' of the homeless population that everyone whines about having to see on the streets.
Those who seriously take issue with a measure that helps improve public hygiene and dignity are probably the ones most appropriately described by the thread title.
And also hypocrites if they've ever used toilet tissue, liners, or paper towels provided by public washrooms as well.

But you didn't address whether you have a problem with public washrooms providing toilet paper as well. The big bad government is involved in that as well, you know.
It probably is a good idea since the machines get broke into so much anyone who actually wants to buy one many times can't because of the losers that break into them. This straight up from the janitor at our neighborhood school.

There's huge difference between having some on hand and giving people their entire supply, including the portion they use at home.
Schools have had pads and tampons on hand for surprises forever. This article is about the losers that can't afford $7-10 per month because they already blew that money on booze, drugs, lotto tickets or whatever it is that the irresponsible spend their money on.
