Funny how the people who always talk about slippery slopes and Obama's drone warfare, but give a big thumbs up to this, don't see that this robot is a land based 'drone'. And that is why she wrote the article asking what are the rules for robot/drone use. When are they ok to use? When not?

Stand off could have been resolved a lot sooner if Dallas cops were armed with RPG's.
Better still, use the robot faster. Talk to him, giving him a 15 minute deadline to come out unarmed and nude so he is unprotected. Minute 16, Ka Boom time.
