They should have used 2 bombs just to make sure. Saved us a whole lot of money, death row injections get expensive nowadays.

Read her article. It was about what she wrote on the topic, from what the people she interviewed said.

Dallas Shooting: When Can Police Use a Bomb Robot?

Funny how the people who always talk about slippery slopes and Obama's drone warfare, but give a big thumbs up to this, don't see that this robot is a land based 'drone'. And that is why she wrote the article asking what are the rules for robot/drone use. When are they ok to use? When not?

So I guess you are now fine with the administrations use of drones. Anytime Anywhere Anybody.
Pretty much.

Nope, no sit in involved or even a kumbaya moment. It's not a lefty thing.

Defended them twice now. I need to take a bath.

Stand off could have been resolved a lot sooner if Dallas cops were armed with RPG's.

Better still, use the robot faster. Talk to him, giving him a 15 minute deadline to come out unarmed and nude so he is unprotected. Minute 16, Ka Boom time.

I'm a lefty and I approve, it was quick thinking by some good cops.

I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

Not a lefty, and I agree. Bratton said NYC has similar weapons. This should be in all major cities, and where no large cities exist, in regions. Ready to go.
