MSNBC Live guest Haley Edwards says the fitting of the robot to blow apart the scumbag in Dallas was mean.
She claims the robot wasn't designed for such violence, and should only be used for observation and other pleasant tasks.
Further, this method of ending the situation prevented the perp from being subdued and lawyering up!
Technology knows no bounds and am glad someone on the force had the enginuity to fab-up such an "accessory".
Oh, the humanity!

Why risk another cop when you can send in a drone?

By far the most awesome way the police have ever taken down a suspect.

I just knew it that someone would find something wrong with using a robot to stop a violent criminal. I wonder what the shooter thought as that robot drew closer to him? Did he try and shoot it?

Was has civil rights violated when the robot blew up before reading the guy his miranda rights? I'm sure the cops gave him plenty of time to give himself up but after shooting so many cops the guy should have been in fear of his life.

In a way that robot saved the tax payers millions of dollars and time. If the guy was taken alive there would have been endless trials and rallies for him.

The shooter had already shown that he was willing to kill cops so I think they were right in sending in the robot to stop that lunatic.

I wondered the same thing. Why didn't the perp try to disable the robot? Maybe it all happened so fast, it didn't matter.
Will there be pics of the mess that resulted? I'll bet they had to change the water in that mop bucket several times!

Best thing in the world -- the degenerate got vaporized, and we the taxpayers aren't paying for his incarceration for the next 60 years. The only thing that would make this story better is if they programmed the robot to speak like the computer in War Games......."Shall we play a game?" right before eliminating this turd from the gene pool.

I hope this new 'business model' spreads, because guys like him don't deserve to live another day, especially on our dime.

Taking the perp out with a robot. How is this different than taking the perp out with a sniper from 300 yards? Same result.

Makes you wonder if there might be a spot for Muslims on the police force.
