See, I just waited a couple of minutes and edited my post. Does that show up anywhere?
And hey I did it again. Still not showing this post as having been edited.
And 7 minutes later, editing again.
OH wait, it's 4:28 and I did it again! So 10 minutes seems to be the limit before it actually shows an edit. My post 2 minutes after yours was WELL within the time-frame.

Edit of a post only shows the word EDIT after about 15 minutes. Before that the Edit word does not show.
Edit: You cannot even edit a post after about 45 minutes. See edit did not show up.
I just timed it. I edited the original post every two minutes. After 10 minutes the EDIT showed up.
Speleothem made a post that I responded to immediately. My response post was time-stamped within two minutes. However, during that two minutes Speleothem went back and edited his post. And then made a snarky remark to me about how I only responded to part of his post. I pointed out that he'd gone back and edited it. Which he denied in a roundabout way. And he pointed out that it didn't say EDIT on his post. I was only making it clear with my repeated edits that EDIT won't show up if you do the edit quickly enough. And that Speleothem was lying about not having edited his post.
