Sorry. I thought it was obvious we were talking about the air time after the DNC. His appearance at DNC would have been forgotten by now if Trump had not created the controversy.

Why was Khan picked? What did he have to say that was WORTH him being picked over the other millions? His son being killed there.

I find odd that he spoke out against the Iraq war and his sons death when Hillary voted FOR it.

He spoke NOT ONE SINGLE WORD against her vote.
He was picked for a very simple reason, and it had nothing to do with being for or against the war. Trump wants to ban muslims because of their religion, and Khan pointed out there are American muslims who have sacrificed their lives in service of the nation, and that Trumps proposals are unconstitutional.

Conservatives need to stop going to business and engineering schools and head to journalism school. In other words, conservatives aren't much interested in journalism careers.

You're confused. Go back to Fox News for your daily brain washing.

The average journalism major makes $18k a year and gets insulted countless times a day. Who wants to put up with abuse.

Fox News definitely is biased and mainstream. It's no different than any other cable channel. Commercials about every 3 minutes. No in depth reporting. Guests who are experts but can't speak in 2 seconds or less, get run over by the opinion jockey host. Doesn't report on all stories in the news, which is a form of bias. They have their regular news anchor guy, Shep Smith, also doing an opinion show. That's just crazy.

Their bias is always on display during presidential primary season. Their bias was on full display at the RNC convention this year. Would mention the DNC but I didn't watch most of it so can't talk about what I didn't see firsthand. Right now they are complaining that the Smith mother's speech didn't get the coverage the Khan speech got. That's true but FNC is calling the kettle black. FNC didn't even show the Smith mother speech. I had to go to C-SPAN on Day 1. They decided it was more important to let you see their regular prime time Kelly/O'Reilly shows and only let you see clips of what they deemed important -- like we're children. Laura Ingraham, for example, gave a fabulous speech. They didn't show it and she's one of their panelists.

They control your news. They run over their guest experts. They only let you comment on some of their online columns and news stories on their website, not all of them. They're biased. Let's face it, those of us who post here read news and watch videos throughout the day. We don't NEED them. The next time you watch FNC, think about the stories you saw during the day that they didn't bother to cover.

Mostly Right Wing myth. They don't like the informatioln so the source must be biased.

Now some obviously are. MSNBC is obviously progressive. And Fox is obviously biased to the right. But CNN or ABC/CBS/NBC not much. And the big newspapers do a reasonable job. It is only when the right does not like the message that they are labeled "biased".

There is of course some bias as there always is...so someone can always provide an example. But they never quote the other numerous times when none was shown.

And the real problem is that it has become a dogma of the right wing faith. "The media is hopelessly biased so you don't have to sort what they say". "All lies".

That of course prevents all dialogs as there is no source of facts.

Lol, no. Coverage that night before Trump spoke was ramped up liberal anti-Trump full court press. Nice try though.

NBC Ignores the Resignations of High Ranking DNC Officials Over Hacked E-Mails

"NBC was the only network in the “big three” to avoid the topic all together. “And there is one more developing headline in the race for president before we move on here, and this one spells trouble for the Democrats tonight,” hyped ABC anchor David Muir on World News Tonight."

"While ABC dedicated 40 seconds to the story, CBS thought it only warranted 18 seconds. “There is more fallout from the leak of Democratic National Committee e-mails that reveal party officials favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders,” said Charlie Rose CBS Evening News, filling in for anchor Scott Pelley. Rose only mentioned “three top officials” were forced to resign, and that Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to step down from her position as the Chair of the DNC."

"Spanish-language network Univision also gave the story minimal air time, almost on par with CBS at 21 seconds. Univision was the only network to mention the names of the two other officials forced to resign, “Two of her collaborators Luis Miranda and Brad Marshall joined her resignation, which was announced through a press release.”

"Even with Univision’s short amount of time they still beat out their Spanish competitor Telemundo, who also gave the story zero air time. Telemundo is owned by NBC Universal which could explain why they, along with NBC News, did not cover the resignations."

On a similar note, NBC also failed to report about the lies Hillary Clinton told on Fox News Sunday about her truthfulness to the public about her E-Mails. Clinton claimed FBI Director James Comey vindicated what she was telling the public, when in fact he did the opposite.

DAVID MUIR: And there is one more developing headline in the race for president before we move on here, and this one spells trouble for the Democrats tonight. More heads rolling at the Democratic National Committee, after the party's e-mail was hacked. U.S. authorities believing Russian hackers were behind it, but it's what's in those e-mails now leading to resignations. Party CEO Amy Daisy is out tonight, along with the party's chief finance officer and commune cases director. All three in those e-mails showing favoritism for Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. The release of those e-mails already led to DNC chairperson congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to resign from her post at the DNC.

It is not a 'try', but a fact. Trump saw the DNC speech and blew a gasket, which always happens when he feels criticized. There is no one as thin skinned as him.
