WSJ reporter says Obama paid ransom for hostages and Iran makes the same claim.

400 MILLION paid to the largest state sponsor of terrorism. Paid on the same day four hostages were released from Iran. This will have disastrous consequence's around the world. Obama lying and operating in secret to undermine our influence in the world.

Why pay in foreign cash and not US cash? Why cash?
Why pay before the litigation has even happened?
Why would Iran say it was a ransom paid, for their release?

Something isn't adding up, when no litigation has occurred to free up any seized money(US dollar is world money)

#1 - From the article: "The $400 million was paid in foreign currency because any transaction with Iran in U.S. dollars is illegal under U.S. law. Sanctions also complicate Tehran’s access to global banks."

#2 - Settlements "out of court" are a regular occurrence and necessarily happen before a judgment is returned.

#3 - Propaganda. "Look how tough we are! We made the mighty USA pay a ransom for their sailors!"

TeamObama doesn't dispute that they paid a downpayment of $400 Million dollars to Iran - they claim it was just an Amazing Co-Inky-Dence that it just happened to be at the same time Iran captured (and publicly humiliated) American Sailors ... AND ... were negotiating with our good buddy Iran to provide the Grand Obama Legacy.

The USA has a long standing code to NOT pay a ransom because it paints a Target on the back of every American -- of course that was before TeamObama Transformed America.

That would have been done electronically, not in secret in the middle of the night on a plane in Swiss Francs. If it was all legal it would have been done electronically like ALL other transactions are done. It was done this way so it isn't traceable.

How much did TeamObama pay Iran to get our sailors back??

What a disgrace and dishonor this POS has brought to this once great country.

We removed the sanctions in the deal so it would have been perfectly legal to electronically transfer the money in US dollars and they wouldn't have to access "world" banks, they would have had it transferred right to their own banks.
