Police officers will never be respected as long as we make them tax collectors. Tax collectors have never been respected. They have been hated and despised from the beginning.
If people ever want them to be respected this has to change.
Get over it man! Police are not tax collectors. Fines are levied for unlawful behavior. If the person doesn't want a ticket, then follow the law.
It means he was not running away. He turned around with a weapon loaded with ammo. If he had dropped the gun and put his hands in the air before turning around the outcome may have been different. But I suspect he was pointing the weapon at the cop or in the process of it.
You can suspect what you want but they sometimes lie. Until we can verify everything they said we simply can no longer just take them at their word.

That's falling on deaf ears with the anti-cop crowd. For some it is a badge of honor to defy, fight back, resist at all costs. Not sure if it is just ignorance or bad parenting but the thug life attitude is an honor to some people.

The problem is that now the media and politicians coddle these idiots instead of telling them they're wrong. We are a nation of laws. If Hillary Clinton would do that, I would vote for her. But right now I cannot in good conscience vote for her because of this issue.

Wanting truth and transparency out of those we allow to remove the rights of individuals is not anti-cop. I do not understand how everyone doesn't expect this.
