Now you're being ridiculous. You don't have protests by anyone if a parent happens to kill a child. What's there to protest about ? Parenthood, childhood ?
So a black officer shot and killed a black criminal who refused to drop his semi-automatic weapon.
Yep.
Totally justifies burning down a black neighborhood!
...not to mention attacking and beating white commuters unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity, a fact missing from all major networks and newspapers.
I don't understand how discussion about riots can veer of into the weeds like this.
A bunch of people, with no reason except a generalized sense of wrong, destroyed a bunch of businesses and properties that had no part in creating any of the perceived grievances they complain about. And have no ability to do anything about them.
No reasons can explain this behavior because it is unreasonable. It's irrational and primitive, stemming from instinctive instead of reasonable causes. It's springs from the same impulses that express themselves as riots after Super Bowl victories or English soccer fan attacks on foreign fans.
Nothing that happened 200 years or minutes ago has anything to do with it except that it gives it an opening through which to emerge.
Civilizations were created to protect their members from this kind of primeval violence. Milwaukee, Baltimore, Ferguson all happened because there was no civilization to restrain these forces.
Chicago or Detroit or somewhere unexpected, it will happen again if civilization fails to restrain it.

Well, it's pretty hard to restrain or stop a riot if people don't know when or where it will happen. It just, happens. Then, the police are called & they contain it.
I don't understand if he had a gun, why the big deal about shooting him? In some of these instances of police shootings, I can understand being upset, but not this one.
Another case of a Cop shooting a Black man, and then a riot breaks out afterwards. And from what I heard, the man shot got shot was armed with a stolen weapon. Can't people wait until all the facts come out?
The control that comes with the handouts, is just now being seen in the black communities and they want out of the contract, but still get the handouts.
Short term fixes, lead to long term disasters.

easy. they just ignore the pertinent facts, [like him having a stolen handgun in hand, being shot by a black cop] and make up new non-facts [like claiming he was shot in the back].
then whip up the outrage and riot.
