They want our currency bad enough to make stuff at a loss to get it. The market in the US will never demand a savings rate high enough to balance trade. We can come close to balanced trade. We can also come close to starting to buy back our debt. Do that and its value goes up.

What your advocating for is survival of the fittest so...
Like any human anywhere wanting to survive, they will make their own rules...
Country and State means nothing when your survival is on the line.
They are not going to pull the gun to their head and shoot themselves but they will do that to you

From your posts, you support the Constitution.

But when pandemonium hits, I'll bet you would be the first in line in favor of killing all the freedoms and liberties afforded by the Constitution to contain these people.

We see it all the time already where people say just shoot them
The Constitution only applies to me and mine but not you and yours

It's not about marriage. It's about stopping greed from ruining the world.
And that's why the country is bankrupt.

That and they don't have any hood rats.

The surest route to poverty is illegitimacy.

It's also the surest route to a safety hammock.

Are you sure about that? Sweden has more billionaires per capita than does the U.S.

Sweden's billionaires: They have more per capita than the United States.

How does Sweden do it?

Everyone at 1.5 times or more the average income pays the top marginal income tax rate in Sweden. In the U.S., the top marginal income tax rate doesn't kick in until one earns 8.5 times the average income. (Source: OECD) Plus, Sweden has a 25% VAT tax that everyone pays in addition to their income tax.

No, because Iceland has a small population with very high home ownership
and very low long-term renters.

We could increase home ownership here by incentivizing work and rehabilitation.
Again the problem is banks. Banks must be forced to bend to needs of the people.
Imagine a community project in a city like Detroit that would give people homes
IF they work to rebuild and restore. Otherwise, you won't get the necessary
investment because monetarily it won't pay off, so it has to happen another way.
If not, ghettoes will continue to expand.

China is a socialist country where the government owns all the land and totally controls the people.

It's the opposite of a free country. Why would I like it?
