The practice, control and experience of the person holding the gun will always be more important that the brand or caliber of the gun being used to defend a home. Any quality handgun that doesn't jam when you pull the trigger and isn't overpowering the user will work. If you notice, all 3 of those guys were carrying guns in that video. Did any of them hunker down and try to fight? Did they seem confident? Did they seem concerned with the caliber of bullet she was sending in their direction?

Most people get too hung up on brand or caliber, if it feels comfortable and you like it shoot it. The Walther 9mm will put holes in crooks very well.
